National associations of festivals and colleague networks in different artistic disciplines worldwide connect their local and international communities and topics to EFA through joint membership.

Today, 29 festival cities and regions extend the conversation around festivals and exchange local practices and policies related to festival life with colleagues from all over Europe.

EFFEA Call #4 is open: Apply now!
The fourth European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA call for festivals to support emerging artists is open. EFFEA empowers festivals to collaborate across borders and join forces in supporting artists at the stage of expanding their international careers. Submit your residency proposal by 3 November 2025.
EFA involved in the INTERREG Project EUFEAST
The Region of East Macedonia and Thrace, together with seven partners, launches "EUFEAST - Festive trails for a sustainable tomorrow" a project focusing on local festivals as drivers of sustainable tourism and cultural heritage.
7th Edition of the Music International Symposium in Varna
The 7th Edition of the International Symposium - dedicated to the traditions and current tendencies in classical music of the Mediterranean region - will take place from 2nd to 4th September 2025, hosted by the City Art Gallery - Varna, as part of the Varna Summer International Music Festival.
